2) Soft serve twist waffle cone after hiking is like HEAVEN on Earth
3) Don't expect them to wait at the bottom of the trail for you while you hike
4) Start with Angels Landing before everyone remembers what hiking does to you
5) Cheese Pizza and Ice Cream are a girls best friend

It was a week of Playoff Action in the Beehive State.

The 3 things I learned about the Utah Grizzlies...
1) The Grizzlies need to feel the love from the locals.
2) The mullet is still going strong in the NHL.
3) Even without the fans the Grizzlies killed it. (They even beat Canadians. Who would have thought.)

TMU 2008, Las Vegas

Just got back from the annual Vegas TRAMS conference Tech Marketing U. I was able to bring some co-workers this year and we had a great time. Who would have thought work and fun could go together?

Top Five Things I Learned At TMU...

1) Google Rocks! Did you know you can text Google like you would call 411? Its true. Just text 466453 and in the body type something like DL345 and you'll get your flight status or Starbucks, Las Vegas and you'll get all of the Starbucks in Las Vegas.
2) Motivational speaker Nolan Burris continues to pack a room. My favorite Nolanism "The fundamental rule of consulting: they only THINK they know what they want!"
3) Millenials love to hear they are special. That explains everything.
4) Elvis Lives! I'm pretty sure his face is frozen, but he's alive and kickin.
5) TRAMS spelled backwards equals SMART. Genious!!

Who are those guys?

We're on top of the world!

V at Planet Hollywood ROCKS!

At Bare at the Mirage with our new friend Barbara.

Elvis is alive!

Bavispe, Mexico 2008

I just returned from an amazing trip to "REAL" Mexico. After visiting the resort parts of Mexico over twenty times I have a new found love and appreciation for the country. I visited the small town of Bavispe, Sonora, Mexico. The town is located 6 hours (paved road or 2 hours dirt road) south of Douglas, AZ. I was introduced to family I had never known. It was a trip of a life time.

Top 6 things I learned...
1) I need to actually learn Spanish. Not everyone in Mexico speaks English.
2) Cancun, is not Mexico.
3) The border towns are facinating, but a little scary.
4) A 5'9 white girl from the mid-west can get her butt kicked playing volleyball against a 4 ft Mexican any day.
5) When playing volleyball "Mia, Mia" means "I got it white girl, get out of my way before I knock you down"
6) Saying "Hola" over and over does not mean I now know the language.
